Asset Decommissioning & Replacement Services

Retire the Equipment. Recover the Value.

When repair, retrofit, or life extension no longer makes technical or financial sense, Redragon provides a smarter way forward. We help operators safely retire ageing SF₆ and alternative-gas equipment, recover valuable gas, and integrate modern replacement systems—with minimal disruption to operations.

Our end-of-life services cover the complete process: site assessment, gas recovery, analysis, purification or responsible disposal, equipment dismantling, cylinder management, and installation of the replacement system.

Whenever technically possible, recovered SF₆ is purified for reuse rather than treated as waste. Gas that cannot be reclaimed is transferred to qualified environmental partners for compliant destruction. Ageing cylinders and pressure vessels can also be inspected, returned to service, or responsibly scrapped.

From recovery carts and storage systems to hoses, couplings, compressors, and high-pressure components, Redragon manages every stage with one clear objective: safe retirement, responsible gas management, and uninterrupted operations.

Why Choose Redragon?

  • Assess Before You Replace: We evaluate equipment condition, gas quality, safety risks, and operational requirements before recommending repair, retrofit, or replacement.

  • Recover Without Release: Closed-loop processes recover SF₆ and alternative gases while minimizing emissions during decommissioning.

  • Reclaim Before You Dispose: Recoverable gas is analysed, purified, and prepared for reuse—reducing waste and the need for newly manufactured gas.

  • One Team, Complete Transition: Redragon supports everything from planning and manufacturing to gas evacuation, dismantling, installation, testing, and commissioning.

  • Responsible Cylinder Management: Ageing cylinders and pressure vessels are assessed for inspection, reuse, replacement, or environmentally responsible scrapping.

  • Upgrade Without the Downtime Drama: Replacement activities are carefully planned to protect operational continuity and return your system to service as quickly as possible.

  • Documented and Compliant: Gas quantities, quality, recovery, transfer, and final disposition are documented to support safety and environmental compliance.
